Care and Material

How do I wash my Core Chaud grip socks? How do I wear my socks?

Machine wash cold * Do not bleach * Do not use fabric softener * Tumble dry low heat *

Core Chaud merino wool blend grip socks become softer with washing and use. After a few washes, seams along the toe box will soften and the sock will further conform to the foot.

Pilling is normal to fabric, including wool. To reduce the pilling and extend the life and beauty of your Core Chaud studio socks, we recommend washing the socks inside out.

We also recommend wearing your socks exclusively for Pilates, barre and yoga classes and handling them with extra love and care outside of class (i.e. keeping them away from velcro and other materials to prevent snagging).

Why wool?

Our founder created Core Chaud studio grip socks because her feet were always cold when teaching Pilates classes. Our beautiful grip socks are constructed out of a soft merino/acrylic wool blend with polyamide and elastane to keep the feet warm and comfortable while providing breathability and flexibility. 

Our socks also have 100% silicone bottom grips to keep your feet stabie in movement and to prevent them from slipping.

**NOTE Re: Core Chaud Ballet Sizing - for pastel ballet colors only, if you are in between sizes, we recommend sizing down for a more snug fit. All other ballets run true to size.**

Can I cancel my order?

What is the shipping policy?

We offer flat rate shipping of $8 for standard 3-5 business day delivery within the continental United States. For orders $50+, shipping is FREE!

We use all major carriers to ship our socks.
Express 2 day shipping (no Saturday delivery) is available for $24.99. We do not currently offer overnight shipping, and cannot guarantee that your order will deliver within 1 business day when electing this service.

*Please be advised that orders must be placed before 12 pm pacific time on a business day in order to receive your socks within 2 business days. To receive your socks by Friday, be sure to order by Wednesday before 12 pm pacific time.

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information.

For shipping internationally to Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, we offer carrier rate shipping.

**Please note that our carriers have advised us shipping may take longer than expected due to holiday tempo and consumer demand. Once a package has been tendered with the carrier we cannot control any unforeseen carrier delays or delivery exceptions, due to Covid-19 safety protocols and/or unexpected inclement weather.

**Shipping fees are non-refundable.

What is the return policy?

We love our Core Chaud socks, and we are pretty confident you will too!

Return request.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your socks, you may request a return within 30 days of purchase for a refund to your original payment method.

Return requests made after 30 days of purchase but before 60 days will receive store credit.

Condition of socks.

We will only accept a return of socks that are in their unworn, unwashed condition and in their original packaging. We do not accept returns if the socks have been removed from their packaging and/or the packaging has been removed and damaged.


Please inspect your socks after receiving them and contact us immediately if they are defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the socks you have. Once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for new socks.
